Description

Long, slow ripening produced high-quality fruit, enabling us to create one of our Reserve Label Cabernet Sauvignons, an elegant and complex wine. Deep ruby in colour with purple hues. Flavours are dominated by black currants, bramble berries and plums. Underlying notes of dark chocolate with a plush palate. Medium bodied with chewy, well-integrated tannins making it an approachable wine for now but also provide excellent cellaring potential.

A deep garnet hue; lots of tertiary aromas and flavours, especially lashings of oak. Fruit is concentrated, rich with cassis and blackberry compote, plenty of spice with a green walnut note, too. Fuller bodied, firm tannins and more time needed for this to settle.
